Deaf diving and travel. Liveaboard diving Scuba diving with D/deaf and hard of hearing divers
NEXT TRIP:
Ever wanted to take the plunge, but you have been unable to take that giant leap because you are D/deaf or hard of hearing? Do you find it hard to understand instructors in big classes? FRUSTRATED??
Not anymore... Welcome to Worldwide Dive and Sail where your worries will disappear.
Since 2004, we have taught many D/deaf & hard of hearing people who have joined us from around the world! Knowingly, we are the only liveaboard in the world that has continued to offer this service TIME AFTER TIME. With such success and popularity over the past years our trip for 2011 has sold out quickly so we will be running another trip, again in the Maldives, in 2012!
Read more about our Philippines Visayan trip, in the article by Alex Frew McMillan
When is the next trip?
18th to 28th April 2012!
Communication
We use a wide range of communication methods to ensure that everyone can understand and participate; these being: BSL, ASL, lip-speaking, gestures and fingerspelling. We aim to accommodate everyone, whatever their communication needs are!
Please note, however, that all our trips will be a mix of D/deaf, hard of hearing and hearing people.
For more information, take a look at the rest of the website and if you cannot find what you are looking for, we would love to hear from you.
