Guest Christine Edwards a...: Thailand Experience

We have just returned from Thailand and 10 days aboard the S/Y Siren. What a holiday. Every aspect of the trip was organised brilliantly. The staff in the office and the crew on the boat are second to none. Each and every one of them works so well together to create a fantastic team. We would like to mention 3 in particular, Hans led our wonderful dives, his knowledge is inspirational, what a fantastic member of your team he is. Michael on board never seems to stop working and was always there to welcome us back from dives with a smile and Yago, what a great man he is. The people and the boat made this a holiday to remember. If anyone is debating which trip to do, then think no further, we will definetly be booking with them again...can't wait. Thanks to all at World Wide Dive and Sail. See you again before too long.

I did a liveaboard with wwds last march in the similan and surin islands. After spending 8 months in SE asia, this trip was my most memorable experience. WWDS's staff are fun, safe and knowledgable ...and have chosen the world's best places to dive! I miss you guys! James, Brett, Dave. I'll never forget our awesome times on the Sampai Jumpa. Aloha! Lindsey

Thomas: Repeat customers - and booked again

After having been on the S/Y Siren twice (Komodo in 2007 and Andanman Islands in 2008) I cannot praise WWDAS high enough. Both trips (as different as they were) were splendid. The attention to detail and the overall quality of the boat and crew are above anything we have seen. The atmosphere of a wooden boat of this quality is just something to have experienced. We have been spoiled for a land based diving holiday and probably for most other boats.

We will be coming back to enjoy the Philippines on the new boat in 2009. Also looking forward to meeting part of the team at the Düsseldorf Boot exhibition in January.

Lorraine Riscinti: S/Y Philippine Siren - Komodo

Having just finished up a fabulous 10 day cruise aboard the P.Siren, I cannot say it loudly enough how wonderful the vessel, crew and Master of Ceremonies--Frank was.

The vessel itself is gorgeous, complete with leather couches in the salon; The cabins are spacious--even in a triple; the food was delicious and plentiful; the staff and dive crew couldn't be nicer or more helpful.  Diving in Komodo was everything I heard and more--with huge creatures, thousands of schooling fish; macro subjects; crazy currents or none at all and lets not forget muck diving.

I can't wait to go back! Or dive with WWD&S in another destination. Having been on many liveaboard dive trips, I can honestly say none can compare.

Marco: Komodo 10. - 20. August 2009

My Name is Marco, I was on the Komodo-Trip from the 10th – 20th of August 2009. I have worked actively for over a decade in the dive industry now, in differentcountries and different dive-operations, so my expectations where quite high, having read many articles about this region beforehand and being used to many dive destinations in south-east asia already. The diving: What an amazing region below and above the water! The variety, healthiness and sheer amount of fish on the dive sites is stunning. From macro over swarm fish to big-fish you will see it all. The islands: beautiful and wild. This is one the most interesting regions I visited so far. The Komodo-Islands and its dragons are a must-see destination fornature lovers. The boat and the crew: Having worked on up-market liveaboard already, and having dived as customer on a variety of different liveaboards I can only say one thing: Worldwidediveandsail with their boats and crew IS THE FUTURE! That’s how a perfect diving holiday should be in my opinion. The attention to the detail is present at all times, the crew friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and competent! The owner Frank: That the owner is still one of the cruise-directors tells already a lot.

Lance Carlson: Komodo

Wow,  what a great boat and crew!  I'd have to say "the best" of the many I've been on over the years.

Wonderful design of boat and cabins - lots of space, and great attention to details which made it very easy to relax and enjoy all of the time on-board.

And great diving too!   Wonderful variety,  from beautiful garden-like reefs,  action-packed sea-mounts,  manta-filled channels,  to very interesting muck diving with tons of great photo ops.

Thanks to Rung, Komang, Ketut, the rest of the crew, and of course the "best dive operator in Southeast Asia": Frank.  A really wonderful trip and we hope to join you again soon!
